Abstract: Symmetry and asymmetry have long been fascinating concepts for scientists, artists, economists, and engineers, with their study spanning across various fields such as finance, economics, physics, and art.

Our journal, "Symmetry: Culture and Science," has consistently emphasized an interdisciplinary approach, highlighting the importance of symmetry in understanding a wide range of phenomena. In our previous edition, we explored the issue of asymmetric information in economic and financial relations.

However, in this new volume, we delve into the broader concept of symmetry and asymmetry in different contexts, providing fresh insights into the real relationships between variables. The studies presented in this volume highlight the significance of symmetry and asymmetry in comprehending the relationship between various variables. Five papers and a book review were carefully selected after thorough examination within the scope of the thematic issue. As new editors, we express our gratitude to the authors and referees who contributed to this special issue, and we look forward to sharing the power of symmetry in the wide and deep sense effectively through this volume and future journals.
